Nutella Truffles Recipe | Easy No-Bake Chocolate Hazelnut Truffles
Nutella Truffles are rich, creamy, bite-sized chocolate hazelnut treats made with chocolate-hazelnut spread, crushed cookies, and a smooth chocolate coating. These easy no-bake truffles combine a soft, fudgy center with a crisp chocolate shell and the irresistible flavor of toasted hazelnuts. Perfect for parties, holidays, dessert tables, gift boxes, or a simple homemade treat, Nutella Truffles require no oven and can be prepared ahead of time. Finish them with chopped hazelnuts, cocoa powder, or a white chocolate drizzle for an elegant presentation.
Cooking Method
- Place the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
- Add the chocolate-hazelnut spread and softened cream cheese. Process until a thick, smooth mixture forms.
- Scoop out small portions and roll them into approximately 1-inch (2.5 cm) balls.
- Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, coating it completely.
- Use a fork to lift each truffle from the chocolate and allow the excess coating to drip away.
- Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined tray and immediately sprinkle with chopped toasted hazelnuts.
- Drizzle with melted white chocolate or dust lightly with cocoa powder if desired.
- Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes, or until the chocolate coating is fully set. Serve chilled or allow to soften slightly before serving.
