 Paneer Korma is a rich and creamy North Indian curry made with soft paneer cubes simmered in a luxurious gravy of yogurt, cream, cashews, onions, tomatoes, and aromatic spices. Known for its mildly spiced flavor and silky texture, this royal vegetarian dish is perfect for festive occasions, family dinners, and special celebrations. Paneer Korma pairs beautifully with naan, butter roti, paratha, or fragrant basmati rice. 

Cooking Method

 

  1. Soak cashews in warm water for 15 minutes and blend them into a smooth paste.
  2.  Heat ghee or oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden, then add ginger-garlic paste. 
  3.  Add tomato puree and cook with turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala until the oil separates. 
  4.  Stir in the cashew paste, yogurt, and fresh cream, cooking on low heat until the gravy becomes smooth and creamy. 
  5.  Add paneer cubes and gently mix to coat them in the rich gravy. 
  6.  Simmer for 5–7 minutes, adjusting the consistency with a little water if needed. 
  7.  Garnish with fresh coriander, cream, and chopped cashews before serving hot.
