Chicken Alfredo Lasagna Recipe | Creamy White Sauce Chicken Lasagna
Chicken Alfredo Lasagna is a rich and comforting Italian-inspired pasta bake featuring tender shredded chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, layers of lasagna noodles, and a blend of mozzarella, Parmesan, and ricotta cheeses. Unlike traditional tomato-based lasagna, this white sauce version offers a velvety, cheesy filling infused with garlic and Italian herbs. Baked until golden and bubbly, Chicken Alfredo Lasagna is perfect for family dinners, holiday gatherings, potlucks, or meal prep. Every bite is loaded with creamy sauce, juicy chicken, and perfectly melted cheese, making it an irresistible comfort food favorite.
Cooking Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- Stir the garlic into the Alfredo sauce along with the Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with 1 cup of Alfredo sauce. Mix in the chopped spinach if using.
- Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce over the bottom of the baking dish.
- Arrange a layer of lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread one-third of the ricotta cheese, followed by one-third of the chicken mixture, one-third of the mozzarella cheese, and a layer of Alfredo sauce.
- Repeat the layers two more times, finishing with the remaining Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes, garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan, then slice and serve.
