Vegetable Chow Mein Recipe | Easy Chinese-Style Vegetable Noodles
Vegetable Chow Mein is a quick and flavorful noodle stir-fry made with chow mein noodles, fresh vegetables, garlic, ginger, and a savory stir-fry sauce. Cooking Method
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok over high heat.
- Add the onion, carrot, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
- Add the cabbage, bean sprouts, garlic, and ginger. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked noodles and pour in the prepared sauce.
- Toss everything over high heat for 2–3 minutes, until the noodles are hot and evenly coated.
- Add the green onions and toss briefly.
- Serve immediately while hot.
