Pork Chow Mein | Classic Chinese-Style Pork Noodle Stir-Fry
Pork Chow Mein is a delicious Chinese-style noodle dish made with tender pork, chewy noodles, crisp vegetables, garlic, ginger, and a savory stir-fry sauce. It is quick, flavorful, and perfect for a homemade takeout-style lunch or dinner.
Cooking Method
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok over high heat.
- Add the sliced pork and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until cooked and lightly browned.
- Remove the pork and set aside.
- Add the remaining oil, followed by garlic and ginger.
- Add cabbage, carrot, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
- Return the pork to the wok.
- Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar.
- Toss everything together over high heat for 2–3 minutes.
- Add bean sprouts and green onions.
- Stir-fry for another 1 minute.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
