Brazilian Coconut Lime Chicken | Creamy Tropical-Style Chicken
Brazilian Coconut Lime Chicken is a vibrant and comforting dish inspired by the tropical flavors of Brazilian cuisine. Tender chicken is cooked in a creamy coconut sauce infused with fresh lime juice, garlic, onion, paprika, and aromatic herbs. The combination of rich coconut milk and bright citrus creates a beautifully balanced sauce that is creamy, tangy, savory, and lightly sweet.
The chicken is first seasoned and lightly browned to develop a delicious golden exterior. It is then simmered gently in the coconut-lime sauce, allowing the meat to absorb the fragrant flavors while remaining juicy and tender. Fresh lime juice added toward the end keeps the citrus flavor bright and refreshing.
This Brazilian-inspired chicken is perfect for a quick family lunch or dinner and pairs wonderfully with steamed white rice, coconut rice, farofa, roasted vegetables, or a simple green salad. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley and lime wedges for an extra burst of freshness.
