Achu & Yellow Soup is a traditional Cameroonian dish made with tender meat or fish simmered in a rich, aromatic yellow soup seasoned with warm spices and local ingredients. The vibrant yellow color and savory, deeply seasoned broth make this dish both comforting and visually inviting. It is traditionally enjoyed with achu, a smooth pounded cocoyam dough that is shaped into small portions and served alongside the soup.
This flavorful West African meal is especially popular for family gatherings, celebrations, and special occasions. The creamy texture of the achu pairs beautifully with the savory yellow soup, creating a satisfying combination of smooth, spicy, and aromatic flavors.
