Adjika is a bold and flavourful chilli relish inspired by traditional spicy pepper pastes. This East African-style variation combines fresh red chillies, sweet red bell peppers, garlic, tomatoes, and aromatic spices to create a vibrant red condiment with a rich texture. A touch of vinegar adds tanginess, while coriander, cumin, and paprika bring warmth and depth to the flavour.
This homemade relish is perfect for anyone who enjoys spicy sauces and versatile condiments. Serve it alongside grilled chicken, roasted vegetables, rice, or flatbread, or use it as a marinade to add extra flavour to your favourite dishes. You can adjust the chilli level and consistency to suit your taste.
